Founder of Evidence Based Motion
Louis Maniakas began his journey as a passionate adolescent football player in the NSW Premier League. As his football career progressed, he underwent a mindset shift and began to acknowledge the health benefits of exercise. After leaving high school, he discovered the Certificate III in Fitness, which sparked his interest in the human body and its response to exercise. He completed this certification and went on to enrol in the Certificate IV in Fitness and subsequently the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy.
After two years of developing his knowledge of human anatomy and exercise, Louis became a qualified personal trainer and has since made a real difference in people's lives, helping them achieve their health and fitness goals. Motivated to further expand his knowledge, he decided to pursue the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Technology Sydney.
As an Accredited Exercise Scientist, Louis now possesses a deep understanding of human anatomy and the transformative impact of a healthy lifestyle on physical well-being. This inspired him to establish Evidence Based Motion in 2021, with the aim of delivering the highest quality mobile personal training services in Greater Sydney, NSW.
Louis’s goal is to provide exercise services that are backed by the best available research evidence, empowering individuals to feel better, move better, prevent illness, and develop the strength to overcome any challenges they may face. Currently based in Sydney, Louis plans to expand Evidence Based Motion to Toowoomba and eventually across Australia, sharing this knowledge to improve the nation’s health and wellbeing.
